It can generate electricity from any temperature difference, no noise, no ware, no maintenance, and can last very long. But the efficiency is not very high, usually under 10%. However, this level of efficiency is enough for a solar home energy center.
The generator is commercially available right now, from Termo-Gen (look for the model TGC 2200-300). More appropriate products with good prices will come later.
